Noritake

Lately I’ve been going to Noritake store and outlet a lot with my bf and his family. My family had never been a big fan of fancy tableware and cutlery so I was a tad surprised to find out how much one would spend on plates and cups and teapots. I wonder on what occasion would they use those things, and do they display them when they don’t use it, how actually does these work? Seriously I have no idea.

I told myself I would not be able to afford all those fancy tableware and would rather spend my money on handbags or a good pair of jeans, but there was one set of tableware that caught my eyes from the very first time I went there. I wonder if I would buy those when I get married someday, and use it once a year during my anniversary. I mean, if it was so pricey and so special, why use it to serve other people?

The set’s name is Aidan, with series number 4867. The set of two mugs and two dinner plates cost about JPY10500, and the set of two cups and saucers is around JPY6300. All of them are just too beautiful, with modern and sleek design.

Aren’t they pretty?? I’m so in love. I know my family would go crazy if I ever buy these, but who knew? Maybe someday I’ll be able to afford it, or I’d just work really hard to buy it, like how I’ll work really hard to realize my dream of having a Balenciaga bag before I turn 30.

Yeah, maybe.. :S

i wanna jump in and save everyone, but i’m no superhero. i’m just a standby who observes and learn from other people’s mistakes.
